Mary DonahueMary (Schilling) Donahue of Levittown died on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Chandler Hall in Newtown. She was 82.Born and raised in Ashland, PA, Mrs. Donahue moved to Levittown 60 years ago.Mrs. Donahue was a member of the former St. Joseph the Worker Parish for many years and was more recently a member of St. Michael the Archangel Parish. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.Mrs. Donahue is the beloved wife of 64 years, to the late William R. "Slug", who had just passed away on May 5, 2017She is the loving mother of Joseph (Eileen), Martin (Theresa), Daniel, Robert (Christine), Patrick (Angela Forgione & her daughter Morgan), Maureen Carr (Daniel) and the late William R. (Joanne).She is the devoted grandmother of Kristan Howard (Pat), Andrew (Janine), Kevin, William III, Lindsey, Katie, Michael and Bridget Donahue, Keara, Molly and Ian Carr and the great grandmother of Madelyn and Layne Howard and Ryleigh Donahue.Mrs. Donahue is the dear sister of Leo Schilling, Helen Whalen, Elizabeth Paulukow and Catherine Long.She will also be missed by and many nieces, nephews.She was predeceased by her husband, parents, Gertrude (Koons) and Leo Schilling, her brother, Joseph Schilling and sister, Frances Wagner.Family and friends are invited to call from 4:00 pm until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday and 8:00 am until 9:00 a.m. on Monday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Church followed by Rite of Committal at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
