Mary was born November 24, 1940 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and entered her eternal rest on August 4, 2025 in Levittown, Pennsylvania. She retired from the National Bible Press Company of Philadelphia, PA. Mary loved the shore and was a kind loving dog person.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband David (Dave) Smack, her beloved family members daughter Katherine (Terry) Meaux (wife of Joseph Meaux, Jr.), son Robert Terry, Jr., sisters Theresa Volio and Josey (Volio) Raimondo , brother Joe Volio, mother Theresa (Bocchino) Volio, father Carmen Volio, Sr. and her fur baby Princess.
She is survived, loved, and will be missed by her son Keith Terry of Maryland, daughter Cynthia Terry of Texas, brothers Carmen Volio, Jr. (Phyllis), Robert Volio Sr., Peter Volio (Carol), and sister Rochelle Pascale Volio all of Pennsylvania, sister-in-laws Elaine Bates and June Smack of Arizona.
Mary is also survived by her five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren all of Texas and Louisiana. Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
Mary’s loving friend Denise (Angel) Daut was by her side holding her hand until she took her last breath and went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. The family is thankful for her faithfulness and love shown to Mary. Many of her neighbors have also been there to support and love her over the years and will be remembered for all their kindness. May the God of all Love, Grace, Peace and Mercy follow you all the days of your lives. Amen
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, Pennsylvania 19056, followed by a funeral service.
