Mary was born in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Matthew and Elizabeth Stieffenhofer. She and her husband Edward Wells raised three sons together. Mary was a devoted homemaker to her family. She was also extremely artistic and would help many freelance artists in the area though different organizations.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wells Sr., and her parents, Matthew Stieffenhofer and Elizabeth Stieffenhofer (nee Herrgott).
Mary is survived by her sons Edward Jr., Robert, and James Wells; by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; and by her sister, Elizabeth Stieffenhofer.
A viewing for Mary will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, PA 19054, followed by a mass at 10:00 am, followed by burial at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020.
