Matthew J. Benedetto III

Born in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, Matthew was a resident of Langhorne prior to living in Bristol Township for nearly 40 years.

He was a dedicated employee and spent over 30 years working in maintenance with the Neshaminy School District until his retirement in 2008.

Matthew was a life long Philadelphia sports fan, and a proud Trump supporter. He loved going to car shows.

He is the beloved father of Jessica DeGarmo, Matthew J. Benedetto IV (Kelsey) and Maggie Benedetto-Griffith (Brett); devoted grandfather of Brittany Alvarez, Isabella, James IV and Jackson Coons, Benjamin Benedetto, Julena Groetsch, Sesarae, Vyelle and Gabriella Griffith; dear son of Rose Marie (Flore) Knopf; and brother of John Benedetto.

Matthew will also be sadly missed by many extended family members.

He was predeceased by his father, Matthew John Benedetto Jr. and a brother, Joseph Benedetto.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
