Matthew Braksator

Born in Bristol, PA, the son of Donna (Nolte) and James Braksator, Matthew was a life-long resident of Bucks County. He was a 1993 graduate of Council Rock High School North and was recently employed at Reedman Toll, responsible for dealer trades.

Matt was a car enthusiast and loved drag racing with his cousins. Hot rods and muscle cars were also favorites, and his 1972 yellow Dodge Dart was a familiar sight in the neighborhood.

He was generous with his time, always lending a helping hand to family and friends. He volunteered his time at the local food bank.

Matt could talk your ear off. Everyone knows he had a wealth of knowledge about useless trivia. He had a great sense of humor, and always managed to make you feel important to him.

He enjoyed traveling, hiking, and nature. He loved fishing and capturing memories with his camera. An avid Eagles fan, he also liked playing baseball and shooting pool with a local league.

He treasured his friends and felt that his family was his greatest gift.

Along with is parents, Donna and James, Matthew is survived by his sister, Jenny Winchester-Davis (Samuel); his nieces, Addison and Brooklyn and his nephew, Colin. He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation is on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held privately. Casual attire is required. Leave your suit at home.
