He was born August 25, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. Michael was one of ten sons and two daughters of Joseph and Louise Fassano. He served in the United States Army from November 1951 to November 1954.
Michael had various clerical jobs during his working career, his last was keeping the records of his brother Samuel's ornamental iron works. He was single his entire life and was educated in the Trinitarian Seminary in Bordentown, NJ and Franciscan Seminary in Graymoor, NY after his completion of military service.
As children, we could always count on Uncle Mike to assist with math homework when we were stuck. He will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 10:00 until 11:30 am followed fy Funeral Liturgy, at 11:30 am, at the new Saint Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 W Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.
