Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong area resident of Bucks County. Mike was a Graduate of Bishop Egan in 1971 where he was an avid football player. He worked for White Engineering Surfaces and retired after 45 years. In his free time, he enjoyed all of the Phillies sports teams, but he especially was a fan of the Vikings. Mike was very passionate about Nascar. On his 50th birthday he drove a car at the Pocono Raceway. Mike loved traveling with his wife. Their favorite trip was a cruise to Alaska.
Mike will be so missed by his wife Linda of 33 years, his children and their spouses, Trevor (Jenna), Shane (Catherine), Jason (Delicia); Sue, mother of Trevor and Shane, his grandchildren, Alexis, Peyton, Aubrey, Emich, Noam and TJ; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Joseph (JoAnne), and Jerry (Lisa); many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and his beloved dogs, Sadie and Samie.
A visitation for Michael will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, PA 19056. Following the visitation will be a funeral service at 11:30 AM. which will be officiated by Pastor Chris of Langhorne United Methodist Church.
Cremation will be private.
