Born in Bristol, PA, she was lifelong area resident. She was a 1973 graduate of Bishop Conwell High School, and received her Bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University. She made her living as a bookkeeper at various companies during her lifetime,
She was a private person, but loved her nieces and nephews dearly.
Predeceased by her parents, William and Theresa (Riley) DeRisi, and her brother-in-law Michael McClelland; Michele is survived by her sisters, Theresa Moore (Robert McGrath) and Cynthia McClelland; her nieces, Jennifer, Stephanie, and Courtney; her nephews, Joe and Bill; and her adored great nieces, Kaylay, Corinne, Maya, and Amelia; and her adored great nephews, Michael, Ben, and Liam.
