Patricia M. Gallagher

Patricia M. Gallagher passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 69.Born and raised in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, daughter of the late Mary R. (King) and Walter J. Tiernan, Tricia has been a resident of Levittown since 1973. She was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School.Tricia has been a longtime member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hiberians of Bristol, Division #1 where she was very active in the many charitable events sponsored by the AOH. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and walked in the the Saint Patrick's Day Parade every year.Tricia was a passionate Philadelphia Eagles fan. She also enjoyed traveling, was an avid reader and truly enjoyed life! She was loving, devoted and supportive to her entire family, and could often be found cheering on the sidelines at games or in the front row of a play or concert.Beloved wife of the late Hugh J., Tricia is the loving mother of Kenneth Gallagher (Laurie), Sharon M. Padgett, and Stephen Gallagher.She is the devoted grandmother of Aidan, Brenna, Kieran and Tristan; and dear sister of Edward B. Tiernan (Nancy) and Barbara Medeiros. Tricia will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her brother, Walter "Buddy" Tiernan.Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Monday, December 10, 2018, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 10, 2018, 10:30 am, at Queen of the Universe Church, Levittown, followed by the Rite of Committal in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tricia's name may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
