Patricia Hamel-Ceriani

Patricia Hamel-Ceriani died on Thursday, May 12, 2011, surrounded by her loving family after an 8 year strong and courageous battle with liver disease and cancer . She was 55. Born in Fairbanks, Alaska, the daughter of Rose (Beagles) Hamel and the late Edward Hamel, Sr., she resided in Levittown. Patty loved to hangout with her mom, grandsons, family and friends. She enjoyed making others laugh and and had a wonderful funny personality. Patty had a heart of gold. Other favorite pastimes of Patty's were watching horror movies and taking care of her cat. Patty was the devoted and loving mother of Sara Ceriani and the proud grandmother of Christopher and CJ Curran. She was the sister of Edward Hamel, Jr., Stanley Hamel, Janice Kuykendall and Ronald Kuykendall. She will also be sadly missed by her nephew, Sean Hamel and his fiancee, Aimee Drunas and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Ceriani, III and a daughter, Lisa Ceriani. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park.
