Patricia J. Meriano

Patricia J. Meriano Patricia J. Meriano died at her home on Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was 63. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late June S. and Edward J. Curran, Patricia was a life time resident of Middletown Township. She was a 1966 graduate of Neshaminy High School. Patricia was a waitress for 25 years, working for Woolworths/Harvest House, in the Oxford Valley Mall. She then went to work for Computer Associates of Mount Laurel, in Tech Support for 10 years. Her working career ended with the Liquor Control Board. Her primary love in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and other family members. She also enjoyed spending time at the beach for vacations. Beloved wife of 7 years to Charles F. Meriano, Sr., Patricia was the loving mother of Christine Creighton (Jim), Cathleen J. Horwitz and Jan Marie Zemitis all of Levittown. She was the devoted grandmother of Cole, Allison, Julia, Caitlin, Chase and Reese. Patricia was the step mother of Charles F. Meriano Jr. of Warminster and Michael T. Meriano of Levittown and step grandmother of, Kaylee, Kayla and Paige. She will also be sadly missed by her brother, Edward J. Curran, Jr. of Levittown; her sisters, Robin McManus (Bill) of Levittown, Susan Richardson (Ron) of Yardley, and Kim Peltz (Jeff) of Levittown and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, from 9:00 until 10:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., where her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
