Philander C. Knox III

Born in Abington, the son of Ella Williams and the late Philander C. Knox II, he was a long time resident of Lower Bucks County. Phil was predeceased by his father and his sister, Jennifer Knox.

A very proud father, Philzy’s children meant the world to him. Phil was a talented man whose life experiences took him all over the world. It is with a heavy heart that his children, family, and friends must say goodbye. We will always remember the good times when we saw his contagious smile, felt his warm heart and were embraced in his big hugs. We will miss his presence, his jokes, his laughter and his stories. We know that Jenny was waiting for her big brother with arms wide open and that they are finally at peace together just as their lives began.

Phil is the beloved father of Maximus, Makaila, and Manny Knox; and the brother of Jennifer Mooney, Marie Walker, Jacqueline Lauver (George) and Lisa Llewellyn (Chris).

He will also be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 9:30 until 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem.
