Phyllis M. Doneker Phyllis M. Doneker died suddenly at home in Newtown on Monday, August 4, 2014. She was 71. Born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Margaret (Bonner) and Harry Doneker, Phyllis has resided in Newtown for the past 16 years. Phyllis enjoyed a full life with her family, especially her grandchildren, since her retirement from Prudential Insurance Company. She looked forward to socializing at family gatherings. Phyllis especially enjoyed watching movies and playing cards. Loving mother of Kimberly Lawless (Robert) and Todd Sangston, Phyllis was the devoted grandmother of R.J. and Heather Lawless and Victoria Sangston and the sister of Harry Doneker (Rose). Phyllis leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She was known as GREAT Aunt Phyllis to her younger nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters, Dolores M. Gallagher and Marguerite Clark-Larsen. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 10:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, mass cards are preferred by her family.
