
Born in Erie, PA, Mrs. Willard has been a resident of Fairless Hills since 1951.
She was predeceased by husband, Burton P. Willard of 59 ½ years and her brother, Larry Eaton, deceased WWII.
A graduate of Penn State University, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia for 20 years until retiring in 1990.
Phyllis enjoyed traveling the world, quilting and sewing for her children and 4 granddaughters. She also enjoyed playing bridge and was an active member at Northminster Presbyterian Church where she was an elder, played in the Handbell choir and was active in the women's group. She was a life member Eastern Star Gridley Chapter No. #324 O.E.S. and volunteered with the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Wallis of Erie, PA, children: Larry Willard, Fairless Hills, PA, Beverly Plummer, widow of Robert, Shalimar, FL, Cathy Davidson, wife of Gerald, Douglassville, PA and Betsy Gardiner, wife of Robert, Lawrenceville, NJ; granddaughters, Amy Rossi, wife of Rudy, Lauren Hiller, wife of Wayne, Kelly Gardiner, Julie Gardiner and great-grandchildren, Adalyn Rossi, R.J. Rossi, Anthony Rossi, Paxton Hiller and Breckan Hiller.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
