Randy was born in Philadelphia, PA to William and Neva (Sapp) Green. He worked in the construction trades for fifty years. He served as an election judge and was very passionate about voting. Randy was an avid Philly sports fan, and a huge NASCAR enthusiast, his idol being Dale Earnhardt. He was a volunteer at the Bucks County Blues Festival for over 20 years. He loved camping, fishing, bowling, golf, softball, cooking, poker and music. He was always singing, but especially loved singing to the ones he cherished.
Randy loved life, his family, and his friends. He was known for his big heart, his kindness and his ability to make friends wherever he went. Everyone who knew Randy knew him to be the life of the party. He loved with every bit of his heart and would go out of his way for just about anyone, but especially for the ones he loved. He was very stubborn and you couldn't tell him anything because "he was never wrong". One of his famous lines was, "It's good to be the king". He had a lot of quotes he would say all the time, some of which he will be greatly remembered by.
Randy is predeceased by his parents; his wife, Laurie (Tither) Green; his nephew, Darron Green; his mother-in-law, Nancy Tither; and his sister-in-law, Wendy Tither.
He is survived by his three children, Randi Green of Elkton, MD, Ryan Green (Elizabeth) of Levittown, PA, and Sara Green of Levittown, PA; a granddaughter, Nora Green; his fiancee, Susie Townsend, her five children, five grandchildren, and one great grandchild; his brothers, Terry Green of Buckingham, PA, Danny Green of Levittown, PA, Larry Green of Parsonsburg, MD, and Michael Green of Joppa, MD; a brother-in-law, Michael Tither (Kim), seven nephews; and one niece.
