
Richard Francis Clancy, 74, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 after a long, valiant battle with cancer. He was born November 17, 1945 to parents William and Margaret (Law) Clancy in Philadelphia, PA.
Rich is survived by three sons and daughter, Richard Clancy Jr., Michael Clancy (Deborah), Patrick Clancy (Lindsay) and Kirsten Clancy (James); five grandchildren, Lydia, Mason, Angelina, Nora, Elizabeth; as well as his loving former wife, Kimberly Clancy.
He is the dear brother of Bill (Julie), Bobby, and Charlie (Barbara) Clancy.
He was predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret "Peg"; his brother Johnny Clancy; and sister, Joan.
Rich was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to be with his family, play and watch sports, and dance, while making everyone laugh. Rich was an active member of AA since 1990 and dedicated much of his time to helping people in the program, where he has bettered countless lives.
Rich was a proud veteran of the US Army where he was a part of the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles".
Rich was employed at McCafferty Ford of Langhorne, RFTA of Aspen, Colorado and sold resort and lakefront properties.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 12, 2020, from 8:30 until 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, where his funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am. Interment will be held privately.
