Rita M. Brooks Rita M. Brooks died on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at her home. She was 77. Born in Connellsville, PA, she was an orginial Levittown homeowner since 1955. Mrs. Brooks was a member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, Levittown, where she volunteered at the school and many parish activities including the annual fair. Until her retirement in 1995, Mrs. Brooks worked at the Boscov's Department Store in the Levittown Shopping Center for 15 years. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Marshall L., Sr., and loving mother of the late Diana Bove, Mrs. Brooks is survived by her devoted children, Anthony Brooks (BettyAnn), Marshall L. Brooks, Jr. (Peggy), Sharon Gill (George), Pamela Aldsworth (Ronald) and William Brooks; her brothers, Steve Grosso, John Grosso (Kathy), Vincent Grosso (Romaine), and Joseph Grosso and her sister, Gloria Bulebush (George). She was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony Grosso and sister-in-law, Jan Grosso. Mrs. Brooks will also be sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren (and one on the way) and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 7:00 until 9:00 at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown and on Friday 9:00 until 10:00 am at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, 66 Levittown Parkway, Levittown, where her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.
