Robert Haber

Robert "Bob" Haber passed away peacefully on May 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Langhorne, PA. He was 62.Born in Philadelphia, Bob lived most of his life in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He attended Queen of the Universe School, Newtown Friends and Doane Academy. Bob was known for his gentle, quiet personality and passion for simple things: church bingo, shopping for bargains and his beloved Philadelphia Phillies on the radio. He was also deeply spiritual and believed God would show him the way.Bob will be sadly missed by his brother, Glenn Haber and many loving aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Haber; mother, Terri Haber; brother, Joseph Haber, Jr.; and nephew, Christopher Haber.The family wishes to thank St. Mary Medical Center for making Bob comfortable in his final days, and especially Dr. James Delaplane for his dedicated and skillful care of Bob for many years.A life celebration for family and friends will be scheduled later in the year in the Philadelphia area. The family respectfully requests memorial contributions to mental health organizations specializing in schizophrenia research such as the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
