Ronald Robert Brenner, aged 72, of Levittown, Pennsylvania passed away on November 27, 2024. Known affectionately as “Dad” to all, Ron's generous spirit and profound love for his community marked every aspect of his life.
Ronald graduated from Bishop Eagan High School in 1970 and dedicated 40 years of his career to Edge Co Metal, now known as Max Steele. His strong work ethic did not wane as he later joined the team at Statesmen Nursing Home, where he continued to impact lives positively- proving that you can't retire a heart of gold.
Ronald was a devout Christian and an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Church. He participated in the church choir and was a familiar face at the church fair, running the pizza stand.
Blessed with the gift of song, Ron would look forward to any and all nights that included karaoke.
So much joy was spent maintaining family traditions such as trips to Wildwood, a place close to his heart since his childhood. Ronald's idea of a good time in Wildwood included a walk down the boardwalk, grabbing food at Samuel’s pancake house –a staple of any trip- and a mandatory cone from Hassles. The Flame at 23rd and Surf will be dimmer without his presence.
Love struck in the most romantic of settings—a stationary factory named Red Rope—where Ron met his match, the lovely Mary. Together, they crafted a beautiful life filled with more love than a greeting card aisle before Valentine's Day. She will miss their date to Holly Night at Pennsbury Manor.
Ronald is remembered by his adoring wife Mary, the one and only “Dad” to his adoring children: Ronnie (Ashlee), Vicky (Shawn) Burke, John, and Tommy (Sarah); Disney nights with Pop-Pop will forever be remembered by his 22 grandkids, and his partner in crime, his brother Jan.
Leaving behind a melody of memories, Ron's joyous tune plays on with every laugh shared in his spirit.
Family and friends are invited to Ronald’s visitation Friday, December 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA 19056. A prayer service will begin at 6PM.
