

Ronald "Ronnie" Graham of Fairless Hills passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was 82 years old.Ronnie was born November 19, 1935 in Philadelphia and has resided in Fairless Hills for the past 60 years. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini parish.He was a proud U.S. Army veteran.Ronnie worked in construction until 1962 when he became employed with U.S. Steel in the transportation department. He was a locomotive crane operator for many years until his retirement and was a member of the United Steelworkers. Ronnie enjoyed playing softball in earlier years and while working at the Mill coached their softball team the "Scrappers".Ronnie was a former firefighter and was active in running the dances at the fire hall in the 1950's. In earlier years he was also an active Democratic Committeeman.Ronnie was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.He was always witty and quick with a joke. He was especially kind, giving and generous to his family who will always remember him as a hard working man. There was a spcial place in his heart for his dog, Lovey.Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Joan (Griffin) Graham and his loving children Debbie Martier, Ronald (Bernadette) and Ron Warr (Debbie).He is a devoted Poppop to his grandchildren Lindsay (Pete), Joanmarie (Izzy), Ron Warr (Teresa), Bill (Amber), Nick (Kristen), Colleen (Bubba), Katie Cunningham (Phil), Amanda (Mark), Katie Graham, Joe (Dena), Kristin, and Ronnie Rags as well as 24 great grandchildren.He will also be missed by his sister-in-law, Joann Graham as well as many nieces and nephews.Preceded in death by his precious daughter, Maryanne and her husband Joe McHugh and son-in-law, Roger Martier. Ronnie is the son of the late Gertrude Gray and Harry Graham and brother of the late Harry, Gerald, Jane Pinel (John) and Dennis.Family and friends are invited to call from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 10 until 11 a.m. on Thursday at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
