

Rosario "Seddie" Caro Rosario "Seddie" Caro died peacefully on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Chandler Hall. He was 94. Born and raised in Bristol Boro, he was a graduate of Saint Ann's Elementary School and Bristol High School. Seddie played adult football, basketball and baseball in Bristol. In addition he coached fast pitch and slow pitch softball as well as little legaue baseball in the Boro. He also enjoyed bowling and fishing. Mr. Caro was a lifetime member of the Saint Ann's Athletic Association in Bristol Boro. Prior to his retirement in 1982, Seddie was a welder for over 20 years with Rohm and Hass in Bristol. He served proudly in the US Army during World War II. Seddie was predeceased by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret (Marozzi) and his brother, Peter. He was the loving father of Joseph (Diane) of Levittown, with whom he resided for the past 6 years; Lucia Caro of Bristol and Thomas D. (Teresa) of Langhorne. He will also be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren, Lisa Adamitis, Michelle Rosta, and Joe Jr., John, Michael and Tom Caro; and his 3 great granddaughters, Sabrina Rosta, Macy and Jamie Adamitis; his sister, Grace Hoffner of Bristol Boro; his brother-in-law, John Marozzi of Bristol Boro and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at10:00 am at Saint Ann Church, 357 Dorrance Street, Bristol, followed by Rite of Committal in Saint Mark Cemetery. There will be no calling hours on Thursday. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the a charity of donor's choice.
