Russell H. Stradling

Russell H. Stradling died on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the age of 81.Born and raised in Newtown, Russell was the son of the late William and Helene (Wick) Stradling. He has resided in Levittown for the past forty-seven years.Russell graduated from Council Rock High School in 1954 and upon graduating became employed with the Delaware Valley Advance until 1967. He served a six year apprenticeship and became a Journeyman printer in 1960.Russell was later employed with the Bucks County Courier Times from 1967 until retiring in 2001. Russell loved sports. He was involved with the Levittown American Little League when his son played and was an ardent fan of all his grandsons teams. He was also a diehard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and Penn State football.Beloved husband of Nancy (Dinlocker) for 58 years, he was the loving father of Susan of Levittown and Randall (Rosemarie) of Yardley and devoted grandfather of Michael McGroarty of Chicago, IL, Alexander and Eric Stradling of Yardley.Preceded in death by his siblings Kathryn, William Jr. and Albert, he was the proud uncle of Donald Mulhern of Malvern, William, John and Deborah Stradling of Levittown and the late Jon Mulhern and Leilani Hoy. Family and friends are invited to call from 9 until 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the James J.
