

Samuel Paul Bennett Samuel Paul Bennett died suddenly at his home in Levittown on Sunday, February 10, 2013. He was 56. Mr. Bennett was born and raised in West Philadelphia, and has been a resident of Levittown for many years. He was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, Class of 1974. Samuel served in the Army and was stationed in Alaska and Korea, but traveled many places in the Continental United States for the military. He was proud to serve in the Army for 10 years until an injury had concluded his term. Mr. Bennett received an Honorable Discharge and started a family soon after. Mr. Bennett had become a master auto technician and service advisor later in his life. He was employed at Peruzzi Auto Group and Reedman's Auto, before his conditions had forced him to retire from his field. He shared many funny stories about his co-workers and his profession in which in both dearly loved. Samuel Paul Bennett was a very hard worker and did not know the meaning of quitter. Samuel even worked a second job at night to make sure his wife and children were able to enjoy things in life that he was not able to. He was also blessed with an un-imaginable will power that made him keep going, even after his conditions worsened over time. Samuel, was and will always be, a "true hero" to his family and a role model for all. Samuel loved his wife and kids more than anything in the world, especially his 22 month old granddaughter, Bailey, in which he was given the gift of true happiness. His spirit will survive for many years to come as he was loved and cherished by all around him. Mr. Bennett was the son of the late Carmella (Parico) and Virgil C. Bennett and brother of the late Wayne and Laura Bennett He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Sun K. (Choi); his sons, Samuel Jr., Christopher (Jennifer) and Michael; his granddaughter, Bailey; his sisters, Lisa Oles, Cathy Bennett, Maureen Kliwinski, Virginia Kum, Rosanne Sheil, Patty Kreutzer and Peggy McSweeney and many nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be held privately. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Heart Association, 1617 JFK Blvd, Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
