

Born in Glassport, PA, on January 28, 1922, Mr. Connor entered the University of Notre Dame Seminary. After 6 years he returned home to begin his career with US Steel in 1940. In 1952 he moved to Fairless Hills, becoming Division Superintendent of Sheet and Tin, and remained there for over 42 years until his retirement. After retiring in 1983, be became a Senior Consultant with USX Engineers and Consultants Inc., for which he served clients across the globe.
He was member of Saint Frances Cabrini Parish and the Elks Lodge #2023 B.P.O.E.
He is the beloved husband of the late Gladys "Honey" Connor.
Mr. Connor is the loving father and father-in-law of Ralph and Doreen Connor. He is also survived by his granddaughters and their husbands, Dena Byers, Kerri Argenti (Nicholas), and Brianna Waithe (Terry); his grandson, Daniel J. Connor; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Allie, Daniel, Aryana, Cayden and Ava.
He will also be sadly missed by his loving companion, Judith Cantell.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 South Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills, PA 19030, followed by the Rite of Committal in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. There will be no calling hours on Friday morning.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Connor's name may be made to Saint Frances Cabrini at the above address.
