

Thomas C. Devers, of Levittown, PA, died on Friday, September 18, 2015, in his home at the age of 66 years young. Born and raised in the Olney section of Philadelphia, Tom resided in Jenkintown, PA, before moving to Middletown Township, approximately 2 years ago. Tom graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School, before earning his Associates Degree in Psychology from the University of Alaska. He was a member of the United States Air Force, and a Vietnam war era veteran. As the previous owner and operator of Old London Pizza, in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Tom spent his most recent days as the Office Manager of Patricia A. McCalley, CNM, LLC. The beloved husband of Patricia A. McCalley, Tom and Pat were members of Our Lady of Grace parish. He was the adored father of Brian and Kyle Devers, the loving father-in-law of Jillian Devers, and the cherished pop-pop of Dominic, Avery, and Cole. He will also be sadly missed by friends and extended family members. Some of Tom's passions included real estate, decorating aquariums, playing pool, swimming, and spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, who played semi-pro football in California. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Elizabeth Devers. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Rd., Levittown. Friends may also call on Monday from 9 until 9:45 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 S. Bellevue Avenue, Penndel where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
