Tom was born in Philadelphia but was raised in Levittown. A fabulous place to grow up! He loved all sports starting with Little League Baseball and later on Basketball and lately it was Golf! He enjoyed Fantasy Golf and Fantasy Football and often won…He was a music aficionado! He knew all the words to all the songs.
He also developed a love of cooking and baking. At our last Thanksgiving family reunion, he made a dessert every day! We are so happy that he was able to be with us this year. He also loved to travel, visiting Italy and Ireland many times. It was on one of his last trips to Ireland that he decided his true calling was to enter Seminary.
He was a graduate of Bishop Egan in 1968 and then entered St. Charles Seminary in 1983. He was ordained into the Deaconate in 1990 and was Ordained into the Priesthood in 1991.
Through all of Tom’s medical challenges, and there were many, his faith sustained him and gave him strength. He always kept his spirits up. He was always there to lend a hand whenever there was a need. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend to many.
So, Tom, you fought the good fight; go rest high upon that mountain, son, your work on earth is done; go to heaven a shouting, love for the Father and the Son.
