Thomas J. Sexton Jr.

Thomas J Sexton, Jr. "Tommy" age 81 passed away peacefully on Friday, December 25, 2020, surrounded by his family. Tommy was a resident of Philadelphia until he moved to Levittown in 1979. He is the son of the late Thomas J Sexton Sr. and Julia (Sells). He was preceded in death by his brother James Sexton and his granddaughter Irene Sexton.

Thomas met his beloved wife Elizabeth (Betty Jane) when they were 15 years old. The childhood sweethearts married when they were 19 and have been married for 61 years.

Thomas was a graduate of North Catholic High School in 1957. He entered the Sheet Metal Union Local 19 where he was a proud Union Member. Tommy enjoyed golfing, fishing and running. He was proud of his Goose Hill Lodge family where he was able to share his love of the mountains with his wife and children.

Thomas was most proud of his loving wife and their children. Their storybook life was an example to his children that family was everything. He taught them to enjoy every day, help others, work hard, love deeply and laugh loudly.

Thomas is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Discher) and their children: Thomas J Sexton, Daniel J Sexton (Michele), Elizabeth (Beth) Mealey (Bryan) and John (Jack) Sexton (Patricia). His loving grandchildren: Brian Curcio (Carrie), Amber Mullen (Sean), Danielle Mealey, Timothy Mealey, Mia Sexton, Gina Sexton, Eric Sexton, Jack Sexton, his Great Granddaughter Eliana Mealey and loving sister Jane McIntyre (Sexton).

His funeral and interment will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
