Timothy P. Lenihan

Timothy P. Lenihan, known affectionately as Tim, passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 68 in Bucks County, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Tim grew into a man of strong faith and tenacity, deeply committed to his family and community.

Tim pursued a successful career as an engineer and project manager at Ethicon, a role that not only satisfied him professionally but also fueled his passion for travel. His job took him around the world, providing opportunities to bring his beloved wife, Sharon, along, always ensuring she enjoyed the comfort of his upgraded first-class seats.

Outside of his professional life, Tim was an avid runner and a member of the Bucks County Road Runners. He completed 37 marathons and remained actively involved in the running community, volunteering at races whenever possible. Tim enjoyed cars and car shows, and achieved his childhood dream of keeping his own Corvette perfect. He knew the meaning of team spirit as a dedicated Phillies and Eagles fan, "Go Birds!” His leisure time would always be spent with his loving wife and family: cruising, beach outings, and skiing, all activities that reflected his zest for life and adventure.

A man of faith, Tim was a steadfast parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Morrisville, PA, and St. Rita in Gouldsboro, PA. His spiritual compass always pointed towards kindness and community, guiding him through life's twists and turns.

Tim is remembered by his life partner and loving wife, Sharon, his beloved children, Tim (Stephanie) and Elizabeth (Rob), and cherished by six grandchildren. Their Poppy took great joy in teaching them about life's exciting adventures, as well as the value of bringing everyone together. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary and Rita, brother John, many extended family and friends as Tim was the kind of friend you had for life.

A viewing for Timothy will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM followed by words of remembrance at James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Rd, Levittown, Pennsylvania.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, Pennsylvania, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
