William J. Boyle, Jr.William J. Boyle, Jr. passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the age of 60.Born in Philadelphia, son of the late Marion (Prenon) and William J. Boyle, Bill was raised in Clifton Heights and was a graduate of Monsignor Bonner High School Class of 1975. After graduation, Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force and served over 20 years, retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. During his time in the service, Bill served in many locations, including Iraq during Desert Storm. Among his many awards and medals, including the Kuwait Liberation Medal, he was most proud of being selected as USAF Airman of the Year.Bill will be remembered as a loving, caring person.Loving father of William J. Boyle III and Stephanie M. Boyle, Bill is also survived by his loving sisters, Marion Boyle, Kathleen Boyle and Margaret Gale.He will also be sadly missed by his extended family.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bill's name may be made to charity of donor's choice.
