

William E. Lyall, Jr. William E. Lyall, Jr. died suddenly on Sunday, June 7, 2015. He was 74. Born in Wilkes Barre, Mr. Lyall has been a longtime resident of Levittown and was a 1959 graduate of the former Delhaas High School. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and also the Knights of Columbus, Saint Joseph the Worker Council, 4215. Mr. Lyall served his country as a Green Beret in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Until his retirement in 2003, he was a Water Purification Specialist for 16 years with Arrow Head in Fallsington, PA. Mr. Lyall enjoyed trains, NASCAR, and was an avid shooter. Beloved husband of 48 years to Sandra E. (Rogers), Mr. Lyall is the loving father of Kelly Lyall-Collier (Shane) and devoted grandfather of Teagan. He will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, Wayne Rogers (Kim); sister-in-law, Joanne Rogers; one nephew; several nieces; and his beloved dog, Maggie. Mr. Lyall was predeceased by his parents, Mary (Lewis) and William E. Lyall, Sr.; his brother, James Lyall; and his sister, Cheryl Lyall. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Bucks County S.P.C.A., PO Box 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
