

William E. "Bill" Saunders IV, died on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He was 52. Born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Natalie A. (Luckus) and William E. Saunders, and raised in Croydon, Bill was a life long resident of Bucks County. He was a member of Saint Frances Cabrini Church, Fairless Hills. Bill was a 1975 graduate of Bishop Egan High School and had also attended Bucks County Community College and Delaware Valley College. He served in the US Navy and was employed for 24 years with the Daily Racing Form. Bill loved music and playing guitar and was an amateur Disc Jockey. He was a past member of the Langhorne Players. One of Bill's favorite passions was brewing his own beer. He enjoyed cooking, was a lover of all animals and was an avid fisherman. Bill is the brother of Christine E. Zahn of Tempe, AZ; Mary K. Saunders of Croydon; and Richard J. Saunders and his wife, Lisa, of Fairless Hills and the uncle of Erica; Lindsay and her fianc Tom; and Justin. He will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday January 16, 2010, from 8:30 until the time of his memorial mass at 9:30 am at Saint Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Rd., Fairless Hills. Interment will be held privately. The family requests that memorial contributions in his made be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
