William H. Wagner

William Henry Wagner passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home at the age of 78.Born in Queens, NY, WIlliam has been a long time resident of Levittown PA. For many years, William was employed with the Daily Racing Form and the Daily News. He was a very hard working man, and very strong willed. He had a great sense of humor.WIlliam was a devoted husband and father that always instilled in his children to do their best. A father figure to his grandchildren, he was always there for them. He was a very caring, accepting, good man. He was always willing to help out his friends and family when someone was in need. Growing up, William enjoyed Jones Beach and the beach at Coney Island and to spend time with his family and friends. Through his sister Kathy, he met his wife who was best friends with Kathy and it was love at first sight.Beloved husband of 54 years to Helen M. (Harrington), WIlliam is the loving father of Karen, Christopher, Amie and her husband Robert and devoted grandfather of Sarah, Robert (Lillian), Devin (Tatiana) and Logan and was a soon to be a great grandfather to Xavier. Loving Brother to Robert (Bobby). He is predeceased by his parents, Johanna (Haggerty) and Theodore Wagner and his sister Kathy and brother Walter and his dear daughter, Karen A. Wagner-Yost (Robert). A celebration of life will be held at the VFW at 1605 Haines Rd Levittown, PA 19055 at a later date family and friends will all be invited to attend.
