Aline Catherine Landry

Aline C. Landry (92) went to her eternal home on September 20th 2025. She was born to loving parents Wilfred and Claudia (Ouellette) Vachon on November 25, 1932. She graduated from St. Dominic High School with the class of 1951.

She married Raymond A. Landry on June 23, 1956 and together they were blessed with five children, Karen Jordan and her husband Al, Guy Landry, Elaine Landry, Linda Guay and her husband Raymond and Gary Landry and his wife Tina.

More blessings came with grandchildren Matt Lane, Greg Ouellette, Ryan Landry, Stephanie Ouellette, Erica Gibson, Nick Bonenfant, Luke Bonenfant, Zack Plourde, and Brandon Plourde.

More love followed with ten great-grandchildren.

Aline is survived by her brother Daniel and wife Jeannine Vachon. Also in-laws Pauline Cashman and her husband John and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her parents and great-granddaughter, and many members of her Landry family.

Aline worked in the shoe industry until becoming a full time homemaker. After raising her family she worked as a secretary at Holy Family Parish where she was also a parishioner. She also served as a member of The Ladies of Ste. Anne and Social Justice & Peace Commission.

Among her interest were tending to her flower gardens but her greatest pleasure in life was the time she spent with her family. She always looked forward to her family gatherings, especially the ones held at her home.

A Visitation for Aline will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, ME 04240. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, September 26, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus Street, Lewiston, ME 04240. Committal Prayers will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery 217 Switzerland Road, Lewiston, ME 04240.
