Anita N. Lemay

Lewiston - Anita N. Lemay, age 86, of Oak St. apartments in Lewiston, passed away Thursday morning April 3rd at Central Maine Medical Center with family at her side. She was born in Lewiston December 16, 1927, a daughter of George C. and Georgianna A. (Demers) Delcourt and was educated in local schools. Anita worked in the manufacturing industry for many years until her retirement. Among her favorite enjoyments in her free time were tending to flowers and flower arranging, reading and keeping active through various crafts, especially knitting. She also loved nature, and enjoyed frequent walks at the seashore. She was a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. She leaves two sons David T. Lemay of Brazil and Brian A. Lemay of Lisbon Falls; three grandchildren Jennifer Lemay, Celena Boulanger and Laura Hobbs; two sisters Delores and Giselle and a brother Leonard and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother and one sister.
