

AUBURN- Barbara L. McLaughlin, 69, of Montello Street, Lewiston died Saturday �December 22, 2007 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin with her family by her �side following a long illness.She was born in Norwood, MA. on September 24, 1938, the daughter of George W. �and Ethelle M. (Hayes) Cobb and had been a resident of Lewiston since 1978.She married her high school sweetheart Henry McLaughlin of Readfield January �7, 1958. �They would have celebrated their 50th anniversary in January.Barbara was a homemaker throughout her life. �She was a devoted wife, mother, �grandmother and great grandmother. �Barb, Henry, and family traveled for many �years through Henry's Service career. �She supported Henry's second career �when he started his Tax Business, after Service retirement.She was loved by her family and all who knew her. �She will be missed dearly �by all.She is survived by one son David McLaughlin and his fianc� Terry Aube of Gray; four daughters Cheryl Marsh and her husband Michael of Monmouth, Kathleen McLaughlin of Littleton, MA., Susan Graham and her husband John of Shrewsbury, MA., and Patricia Strout and her husband Thomas of Gorham, ME.; one brother Warren "Sandy" Cobb and his wife Mary Ellen of Walpole, MA.; two sisters Jean Hutchinson of Foxboro, MA., and Patricia Reardon and her husband James of Walpole, MA.; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff from Androscoggin Home Health for the wonderful care they have given to Barbara over the years. NOTICE McLaughlin- Died Saturday December 22, 2007. Mrs. Barbara L. age 69 a resident of Lewiston. Funeral services honoring Barbara's life will be held Friday 11AM from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son. Burial will be held later in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Androscoggin Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice 236 Stetson Rd., Auburn, Maine 04210.
