

Lewiston- Blanche J. Clavet age 90 of Auburn, died Saturday April 4, 2009 at Russell Park Manor after a long illness. She went to heaven to be with her loving family. She was born in Byron on July 3, 1918 the daughter of Aleouse and Rose Marie Thibodeau. She was the wife of Edward A. Clavet for 65 years who died on January 23, 2005. She was a kind and loving person to everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. She was the best mom that anyone could hope for. She loved to paint by numbers, crocheting and playing dice. She had many Pen Pals that kept in touch with her, and she loved hearing from them. We thank all who wrote to her and made her smile. She was predeceased by her sons Roland Clavet and Gerard Clavet, daughter in law Arlene Clavet, and by six brothers and three sisters, that she missed every day.She is survived by five children, that still love her and miss her very much, Maurice Clavet of Lewiston, Theresa Tomasino and her husband Mike of NY, Lucille Gooldrup and her husband Howard of Auburn, Alfred Clavet and his wife Pauline of Sumner and Annette Braxton of Lewiston, she had many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would also like to thank the people of Allegiance Hospice Group who made sure she left this world with respect and dignity, and the nursing staff at Russell Park Manor.
