Daniel P. Bourgoin

1953-2022

Daniel Philippe Bourgoin Sr., 68, passed away Sunday, February 27th 2022. The son of Fortuna and Clarisse Bourgoin, Daniel was born in Lewiston on April 6th, 1953. Educated in the Lewiston School System, he then went on to work for Knapp Shoe for 18 years. He later worked at Bath Iron Works until he retired in 2001.

Daniel had a kind, caring and honest heart. During his lifetime he worked very hard, enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and making others laugh. He was a former member of the Knight’s of Columbus and the Past Time Club.

On July 1, 1972, he married the love of his life Carol Emond Bourgoin. They have three children, Daniel Bourgoin Jr. and partner Sara Bourgoin, Brandi Rubinstein and husband Marc Rubinstein, Randy Bourgoin and partner Jennifer Carmichael.

Daniel is predeceased by his parents Fortuna and Clarisse Bourgoin, and two sisters Linda Bourgoin and Diane Bean.

Daniel is survived by one brother, Roger Bourgoin, Sr.; four sisters Anita Libby, Sylvia Tancrel, Jeannette St. Amand and Marie Lebrun, his children Daniel Bourgoin Jr. and partner Sara Bourgoin, Brandi Rubinstein and husband Marc Rubinstein, Randy Bourgoin and partner Jennifer Carmichael, as well as his 7 grandchildren, Jillian, Reece, Cadence, Colby, Callie, Daniel III and Dominic.
