

He was born July 30, 1949 in Wallagrass, Maine to Bertrand and Kathleen (Goslin) Caron.
Darold was a Veteran who served in the United States Army for 8 years, which included a tour in Korea. He was proud of his service.
He was a member of the Eagles Club #618 in Lewiston. He loved being around all of his friends there.
Darold knew how to make everyone laugh, he was always cracking jokes and pulling small pranks. His laugh filled the room and everyone was always uplifted by his company. He enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing. Darold was a jack of all trades who loved woodworking. His craft allowed him to be able to make pure art out of what seemed to be others' garbage, a true testament to his character and how he lived his life. Darold had the biggest smile when he was around his kids and grandkids. He was survived by; his wife Joanne Caron (Levesque); His 6 children, David Caron and his wife Jennifer; Travis Caron and his wife Laura; Stacy Caron and his wife Lisa; Kayla Mullen and her husband Kyle; Michael Carney and his wife Krysta; and his youngest son Dominic Caron. His 10 Grandchildren; Lucas, Evan, Josephine, Fisher, Miles, Wesley, Gabrielle, Corbin, Daxstyn and Gibsyn. His brother, Richard Caron. His sister Brenda Caron. His furry four
legged friend, Cooper. He was predeceased by both of his parents. His brothers Kenneth Caron and Ray Caron.
A Memorial Service honoring Darold’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home. Committal services along with a military honors service will be held at a later date at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 2-4 PM prior to the service at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway in Lewiston 784-4023.
