I remember Don as a very nice man, I worked with him at the Lewiston Public works, I am sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with you all.

I remember the close times Don and I had at Billing Shoe shop when we were in high school. Aunt Elsie got me the job of night cleanup. The business expanded and Don joined me. We worked for two years together. I remember tricks we would play on each other. One night Don tied up shoe racks together so I would knock them down as I passed a path across one section of the plant. It was his way of slowing me down. We always competed with each other to see who would do his part first. We would laugh and have a good time each night.  He was such a lovable person! Don you were a great man with a heart of gold.  You were always there to help a friend or coworker in need.  When I came to work at LPW in 2001 you taught me how things worked with Dig Safe and the street paving program.  You worked many long hours before, during and after winter storms during winter operations.  Unit 122 always got it done no matter what.  Don was also a true patriot.  He didn't have to serve in the Gulf War, but he insisted that he go with his unit.   Don was my friend and my brother.  He had my back and I had his.  I will miss him always. RIP brother Don

Uncle Donald you were an amazing man and was full of life. I will miss you and will never forget your infectious smile that lit up the whole room. Don was my first plowing partner back in 1987 when i was hired for Lewiston Public Works. He taught me so much and I had and still do have a ton of respect for him. I took over his position when he retired and still hear to this day how he treated people sincerely, something you don't hear much today. my deepest sympathies to his family. He instilled great work ethics to my generation. RIP Don.

Uncle Don was a great man and his heart was always full of love. He will definitely be missed I loved the way he used to make me smile with his generous gifts for Christmas and my birthday! Uncle Don I love you so much and you'll live in my heart forever!💔😭💕

My condolences to Don’s family and friends. What a great guy and a real pleasure to have worked and known Don. We shared  a lot of laughs at LPW. I caught up with Don a few years back and had a wonderful time reminiscing. People like Don come into our lives for a reason and you never forget them!

Jennifer and family my heart and prayers go out to all of you on your loss. I am sure this is a difficult time for all of you. Keep the memories with you in your heart you will always have those.

It was a joy and honor to have spoken with Don for six years as his nurse. His kindness and quick wit as well as his love to laugh was not lost on me. I am very sorry for your loss, St. Pierre family. Know that the people who knew him, outside of his family, felt what a great, kind, loving man he was. You all are in my prayers and my heart through this time. God bless. 

This seems so sudden,He mention me on my anniversary only in October,Just wanted to say don was a great guy when he and i was at ft polk,The 619th played army in the fields when it poored every day,Don and i had a fruit truck,Then after we delivered around lunch time we went to Mcdonalds every day just to drink coffee and sit around till after hrs then back to the barracks,So we wouldnt get caught doing nothing,All day,Don was the best,Good guy to hide with there was many two week training that we did nothing always trying to find a better place to hide he will be missed
