

Auburn - Doris C. Girardin, 76, of 253 Oak Street in Lewiston, died Friday May 27, 2011, at the Androscoggin Hospice House with her family by her side. Born in Lewiston January 3, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Juliette Tanguay Charest. She attended Lewiston schools and worked in the Hill Mill, then later worked in the housekeeping department at C.M. M.C. prior to her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards, beano, shopping and gardening. She loved spending time with family & friends. Doris will be remembered for her kind heart and her wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her husband Willie G. Girardin of Lewiston whom she married December 21, 1963, her daughter, Linda Johnson, and fiance Steve Erickson of Poland, 2 sons, Roger Girardin of Lewiston, Mark Girardin and his wife Pamela of Lewiston, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and 15 sisters and brothers Rolande C. Leclair and husband Normand, Claire Rouillard and husband Ronald, Bertrand Charest, Robert and wife Constance Charest, Gerard and wife Leanne Charest, Maurice Charest, Raymond and wife Carol Charest, Jules and wife Chris Charest, Michael Charest, Danny and wife Judy Charest, Diane Ryerson and husband Michael, Paul and wife Mary Charest, Linda Cloutier and husband Roger, Ronnie and wife Carol Charest, Lorenzo Charest, She was also predeceased by a son Steve Girardin and a brother Marcel Charest.
