Mrs. Dorothee T. Larochelle Ouellette

1928 - 2010

Auburn - Dorothee T. Ouellette, age 82, of Howe St. in Lewiston, passed away Friday afternoon October 22nd at The Hospice House with family at her side. She was born in Lewiston May 6, 1928 a daughter of Albert and Eva Larochelle. Dorothee was educated in local schools and remained a lifelong resident of this community. On May 8, 1951 she married Armand Ouellette and together they began to raise their children. Dorothee worked in local nursing homes for many years as a CNA until her retirement. Among her favorite enjoyments were playing Beano, knitting afghans and other items for her family and doing puzzles, but most of all she enjoyed creating a warm and loving home for her family and quality time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving, devoted and hard-working wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

She leaves her husband of 51 years, Armand Ouellette of Lewiston; five sons

Richard Deschesne and wife Debbie of Taylor, SC, Donald Ouellette and wife Patricia of Sabattus,

Michael Ouellette of Lewiston, Gary Ouellette and wife Tina of North Turner and

Brian Ouellette of Poland; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;

two sisters Pauline Martel and husband Don of Lisbon Falls and Julie Ebner also of Lisbon Falls and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ouellette was predeceased by a sister Jeannine Ouellette and a brother Henry Larochelle.
