

He was born in Canaan, Maine on January 21, 1933 the son of the late Dwight D. and Mary Catherine (Croud) and had been a resident of this community for most of his life.
He had served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was employed as an animal control officer from 1978 to 1998 in Brunswick and from 1969 to 1999 in Durham.
Frank was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed country music, talking politics, woodworking, fishing and most recently playing bingo.
He is survived by two sons Frank “Sam” Wright Jr. and Howard Wright; two daughters Peggy Boucher and Cindy Noyes; five stepchildren; one sister Ruth Lentine; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Margaret; and his siblings June Shaw, Dwight Wright Jr. and Arlene Bean.

Wright- Died in Lewiston on Wednesday December 21, 2016. Mr. Frank B. Sr. age 83 a resident of Lewiston. Funeral services honoring Frank’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Leet officiating. Committal services along with military honors will be held later in the spring at Hillside Cemetery in Lisbon Falls. Those wishing may make donations in Frank’s memory to the Coastal Humane Society 30 Range Road, Brunswick, Maine 04011. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 PM only at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston 784-4023.
