Georgette I. Poisson

AUBURN- Georgette I. Poisson, 89, of Lewiston, Maine died on Wednesday March 28, 2012 at the Hospice House of Androscoggin following a period of declining health. She was born in Lewiston, Maine on March 27, 1923 the daughter of the late Francois and Leda (Simoneau) Landry, 14th child of 15 Children.

She was employed for many years in the manufacturing industry. Georgette was a loving and caring mother, who enjoyed visiting with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgette will be remembered for her straight fowardness to life. Georgette is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert Poisson; her sister Emilienne (Millie) Roy; her three sons Leo W. Poisson and his wife Noreen of New Hampshire, George Poisson of California, Paul Poisson and his wife Lisa of Maine; six grandchildren Matthew Poisson and his wife Shawna, James Poisson and his wife Christine, Christine (Poisson) Fortin and her husband David, Jessica (Poisson) McLean and her husband Adam, Gillian Poisson and Joshua Poisson; eight great grandchildren Nicole, Heather, Sarah, Harris, Hannah, Samuel, Michael and Annalise. Mrs. Georgette I. age 89 a resident of Lewiston. A Funeral Mass honoring Georgette’s life will be celebrated on Monday 11AM at Holy Cross Church.
