Geraldine H. Fournier

She was born in Augusta, January 22, 1926 daughter of the late Joseph and Pomela Lessard. She was married July 25,1964 to Real "Bob" Fournier. Prior to her retirement she was employed for 21 years as an accountant for the Maine Mental Health and Corrections.

She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church until its closing and was involved in many church organizations including the Ladies of Ste. Anne and was a religious education teacher there many years. Geraldine was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul and the Maine State Retirement Association.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She will be remembered as a loving and caring person.

She is survived by her husband Real of Lewiston; a daughter, Pamela Fournier of Lewiston; a granddaughter, Danielle Duval of Lewiston; two great granddaughters, Cami and Adreanah and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents and her five sisters, Yvonne, Julienne, Madeline, Mary-Jane and Dolores all from Augusta.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM at the Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul (lower chapel). Committal St. Peter's Cemetery.
