Auburn - Germain "Chuck" Frechette 85 formerly of 140 Ash St. Lewiston died Saturday at Clover Health Care where he resided for the past nine months.
Born in Lewiston July 14, 1929 a son of the late Arthur and Germaine Bisson Frechette, he graduated from St. Dominic's High School where he participated in bowling, hockey, baseball, football and basketball.
He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul and was an avid local sports enthussist, played in the Mountain Dew Band and was a member of the Franco American Festival.

Gary and wife Cathy Frechette of So. Paris,
Susan and Husband Bryan Hodge of Penfield, NY,
John and wife Bobbie Frechette of Auburn,

Joy & Matt Willard,
Matthew & Allison Hodge,
Jamie Lewis,
great-grandchildren,
Abbigail, Madelyn, Isaiah and Jeanae,
his sister Yolande and Ted Godin of Winter Haven FL,
his brothers,
Andre and wife Barbara Frechette of Litchfield,
David Frechette of Lewiston.
He was predeceased by
sisters Therese Landry, Jeanne d"Arc Caron, Aldea Breton,
his brother Bertrand Frechette
and grandson Russell Charles Frechette.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11:00 am at The Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul
lower chapel. Committal to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery Mausoleum. Donations may be made to Clover Manor Health Care activity fund.
