

LOWELL, MA - Gladys T. St. Marie, 85, formerly of Pond Rd., in Lewiston died Monday February 24th at Saints Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born in Brunswick, July 27, 1928, the daughter of Paul and Marie (Veilleux) Bolduc. Prior to getting married in 1957, she co-owned and operated a coin Laundromat with her friend, Garda, in the Brunswick area. She was a homemaker while her children were growing up on their farmhouse in Lisbon, where many memories were made. After her husband passed away, she went to work for DVE Mfg., where she sewed her infamous "painters" hats. After her retirement in 2004, she kept herself busy going to Curves, where she was a faithful attendee, making puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her Brunswick Class of 1943. In recent months, she had spent quality time with her youngest daughter and family in Massachusetts. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include two sons, Timothy St. Marie and wife Nancy of Mesa, AZ; and Glenn St. Marie of Boston, MA; two daughters, Deborah Parent and companion, Michel Boucher of Lewiston; and Carol Viscione and husband, Tony of Billerica, MA; one brother Paul Bolduc and wife Pat of Lewiston; one sister, Rita Saucier of Connecticut. Also surviving are ten grandchildren, Meghan, Morghan, Abbey, Anthony, Michael, Colby, Devlin, Stephanie, Melissa ad Jennifer; one great grandson, Camren; two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Emma. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Roland St. Marie on November 4, 1981; Sisters, Gloria and Doris; Brothers, Leo and Harold. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day. Joint funeral services honoring both Gladys and her brother in law, Joseph Michaud who both passed away the same day will be held together SATURDAY 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
