

Heidi was born to parents Bruce and Dawn Wood, on June 5th, 1963, in Lewiston ME. She was raised in Sabattus where she spent hours playing outside with her many cousins and friends. She attended Oak Hill High School where she developed her love for cheering and gained lifelong friends.
After graduating high school, she settled and started raising her family. Heidi had always said growing up that her dream was to become a mom. She raised her 3 children in Sabattus, Justin, Jason, and Elizabeth.
Heidi worked 10 plus years at Gates formed fiber before going to work for L.L.Bean where she spent 17 years at the flagship store making her coworkers smile everyday with her quick wit and great sense on humor.
Heidi had a big heart and cared so much for so many. Her greatest joy in life was her children and the grandchildren they blessed her with. She had a joy for cooking and baking which she was passing on to her granddaughters. Heidi had a deep love for Christmas and was always the first to remind you how many days till the big day was here. Heidi was the also the best person when you needed a warm hug.
Heidi is survived by her mother Dawn Wood of Sabattus, her brothers Bruce Wood Jr and his wife Kerry of Sabattus, Michael Wood and his wife Sarah of South Paris. Her nephews Brenden Wood and Fred Wood. Nieces Miranda Wood, Shelby Wood, Cordelia Wood. Her sons Justin Spencer and his partner Ashlie Maker, Jason Spencer, and his wife Tricia Spencer. Her daughter Elizabeth Pinette and her husband Craig Pinette. Heidi is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Dominick Spencer, Alexis Spencer, Haiden Spencer, McKenzie Pinette and Braelynn Pinette who all reside in Sabattus. She is survived by many treasured cousins, aunts, and dear friends.
Heidi was predeceased in death by her father Bruce Wood Sr. of Sabattus and many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Heidi was a true kind soul on earth and will be missed by so many. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now catching up on lost time with her father.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the ICU staff at CMMC who took great care of not only Heidi but the family as well in her final days.
A celebration of life is to be held following a graveside service in the spring.
