

Nevada City, CA – Jaime L. Mennealy, who arrived in the blizzard of ’78, died on June 25th. Jaime was born in Lewiston Maine on January 14th, 1978, the daughter of Linda (Bussiere) Beaulieu and Robert Mennealy.
Jaime attended Lewiston High School and was a member of the State Champion Cheering Squad, an avid member of the debate/mock trial team, and graduated Top Ten. She went on to graduate from Northeastern University.
Upon graduation Jaime moved to Brooklyn, NY and worked in New York City. She worked for Greenpeace USA and as an HR manager at various companies. She later moved to Los Angeles where she lived for many years. Upon leaving LA Jaime moved back to Maine and worked both remotely and on location for companies in the Northeast, and she traveled internationally for many companies as a Project Manager. Post Covid she did some extensive traveling, and eventually settled in her new home in Nevada City, California where she worked for Microsoft/LinkedIn.
Jaime had a brilliant mind, was high-spirited, spontaneous, and had an outgoing personality, with a big heart who was always willing to help or support those in need. She was an activist for causes she believed in and always donated time or money to her causes, and to those of friends and family.
Jaime loved traveling and ventured around the world. She spent time living in Peru, had an extended stay in the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador, hiked the Mayan Ruins in Guatemala, visited friends in Bali, Indonesia, and traveled to Sweden, Norway, France and many other locations. Jaime loved to ride her bike and rode the entire coastline of Maine, did the Great Allegany Passage from DC to Pittsburg, and the Five Borough ride in NYC, amongst others. She loved swimming and swam with dolphins and manatees in Florida and Hawaii, took a cruise to Alaska, and loved spending time at the ocean with her family. She loved all things music, having been to hundreds of concerts with one of last shows being Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday. Jaime was a devoted “Burner” having attended Burning Man for many, many years, in Black Rock City where she met many lifelong friends whose friendships she loved and cherished.
Jaime leaves behind her mother, Linda Beaulieu and husband Marc of Lewiston,
her father Robert and his wife Pinky Amor of Lake Worth, FL, and Auburn, ME, and brothers Matthew Mennealy, Jesse Beaulieu and his wife Angela, nephew Keegan Mennealy, niece Summer Beaulieu, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and many very dear friends. With her big personality and great laugh, Jaime was a bright spark in everyone’s lives and will be dearly missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Friday July 18 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 305 Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, Lewiston, where a memorial service will held on Saturday July 19 at 10:00 AM.
