

Jerrilyn S. Ash, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025, in Monmouth, Maine, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on August 28, 1944, in Willimantic, Connecticut, Jerrilyn was the daughter of Roland and Theresa Seles Sanga. She grew up in Connecticut, graduating from Woodstock Academy and later earning a degree in Hartford.
Jerrilyn raised her family in Maine with her husband, John Ash, before retiring to Winter Haven, Florida. She was a woman of many talents and passions, including horseback riding, gardening, and cooking. Her family and friends cherished her home-cooked meals, and she was renowned for her warm hospitality.
A person of deep faith, Jerrilyn was actively involved with her church community. She was also a gifted writer and published author of the children's book "F.R.O.G. Fully Rely On God."
Jerrilyn is now reunited with her beloved husband, John Ash, whom she was married to for 58 years. She is survived by her daughter, Judi Ash Kieltyka, and her husband, Wesley; her son, John Ash, and his wife, Sandy; her brother, Jack Sanga, and his wife, Laura; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family will plan a service at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by The Fortin & Pinette Group in Lewiston, Maine.
