Jerry L. Dunn

AUBURN - �Jerry L. Dunn, of Auburn passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 29th at his home. Born in Lewiston to Amos A., and Marilyn (Skinner) Dunn. He was raised in the Town of Poland and graduated from Oxford Hills High School where he exceeded in gymnastics. In 1974 he enlisted in the US Air Force as an aircraft maintenance specialist and was honorably discharged in 1977. His past employers were Kamaan Industrial and Eastern Bearings, Inc. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, archery, boater, snowmobiler who also loved exploring up North to parts unknown and enjoyed the serenity of his camp nestled in the mountains on his own pond. He also loved to go on moose watching and eagle watching. His joy was the flight of eagles soaring, nesting and caring for their young. He enjoyed playing jokes on his friends and family. Survivors include his companion of 16 years, Monique Gagnon of �Auburn, his daughter, Amanda Dunn and his grandson, Colby Kittredge, his parents, Amos and Marilyn Dunn, His sister, Darla and spouse Warren Morrill, his twin sister, Sherry Sears, his other set of twin sisters, Marlene Burns and companion Carl Larochelle, Carlene and spouse, Rick Arseneault, several nieces and nephews, as well as uncles and aunts and numerous friends, and also surviving is his loving rock hopping dog, Dolly that he spoiled as much as he could. He will be sadly missed by all. He is free to fly with the eagles forever. DUNN died in Auburn, May 29, 2008, Mr. Jerry L. Dunn a resident of Auburn. A Celebration of Life Service honoring Jerry's life will be held TUESDAY 1:00PM followed by military honors at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Cullen presiding. Burial will be private at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Augusta.
